The complexity and rapidly changing nature of modern microelectronics systems and MEMS makes it technically difficult and prohibitively expensive for individual organisations to maintain dedicated support infrastructure in these areas. The Microelectronics Support Centre consists of a group of experienced microelectronics specialists within a larger electronics design organisation. These specialists provide the necessary range of technical expertise and support services. The Microelectronics Support Centre was established around 25 years ago and has grown to be one of the world's leading centres dedicated to supporting microelectronics in the university community. |
The Microelectronics Support Centre (MSC) is a
leading part of STFC Technology and it offers a range of services including
design guidance, industry-standard Electronic Design Automation tools and
routes to implementation to customers throughout Europe.
