Our organisational structure will recognise your abilities and allow
your career to develop in both technical and project management
directions.

Whichever route you take, you will receive support to develop an
individual learning and development plan which identifies the key
technical and personal competencies you need to develop. You will be
supported in your development by your manager and also by a mentor,
and you will be provided with opportunities to learn from a
combination of on the job experience and formal training events.
Graduates, without extensive relevant industrial experience, will start as
a graduate engineer. Upon completion of the initial graduate training
period you will be promoted to Engineer. Subsequent promotions are based on
individual performance which is assessed at least annually, but you could
expect to be applying for Chartered Engineer status and promoted to Senior
Engineer after around four years.
